Description
This memoir, first published in 1840, contains the fullest account of the 1816-1819 Loch Tayside revival, which the subject took such an active part in. Through correspondence with the author, his brother, he reveals in detail the Lord’s working amongst a people He had chosen for Himself. The spiritual experiences of some of the converts during the revival are described in their own words. The latter part of the memoir covers his subsequent ministry in Inverness, until his death from cholera 1832, which occurred whilst faithfully ministering to his flock.
